Kevin Murphy, a lifelong New Jersey resident, entered college planning to simplify the complex financial aid process for families. Since 2018, he has helped nearly 1,000 families secure resources for higher education, offering personalized strategies that ensure academic and financial success.

Recognized as a trusted advisor, Kevin is dedicated to empowering families with the knowledge they need to confidently navigate one of life’s biggest financial decisions. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife, Alejandra, and their two American Hairless Terriers, Coco and Cabo, in Wanamassa, NJ, while continuing to develop innovative college planning solutions.

Jason Slone

College Planning Expert

Jason Slone, PhD, CCFC has over 20 years of experience in higher education as a Professor, a Department Chair, and a Dean. He also has over 7 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, having first started in 2008 with Edward Jones. 

Jason holds a BA from the College of Wooster, a MA from The Ohio State University, and a PhD from Western Michigan, and is a Certified College Financial Consultant.

Most importantly, he’s a father of 3, with 2 in college now who will graduate debt-free. He lives in Savannah, GA with his wife and bonus daughter and loves to spend time on his boat and playing music.
